    Walter & Group.....

    [GH]  From Lasse Karlsson.

    Hi Gordy

I'm pretty much on the same page as Mike Heritage here :-)

However, I would like to pose a challenge, if there is indeed a setup that would be cause tailing loops even without a faulty move, I would be more than happy to try it out and tape it in 210fps high speed and then post it here :-) I need a good excuse to get out and cast between the diaper changes ;-)

    Cheers
    Lasse

[GH]  A reminder of Mike Heritage's answers to questions 1. and 2. :-

"[GH]  Michael Heritage answers our questions :-

    1. Do you think that there are leader/fly/line/rod  combinations which when cast would invariably result in a tailing loop even if the caster has not created a faulty move ?

Not to my knowledge, or, at least I haven't cast a combo where a tailing tendency couldn't be ironed out with some careful casting.

    2. Are ALL tailing loops the result of problems with casting mechanics ?

I have to say yes because of my first answer. "

Anyone up for meeting this challenge?     Gary Davison ?

Gary's answers to those questions :

"1. Do you think that there are leader/fly/line/rod  combinations which when cast would invariably result in a tailing loop even if the caster has not created a faulty move ?
    Yes.

    2. Are ALL tailing loops the result of problems with casting mechanics ?
    No."
