Walter & Group.....
Last night I returned from the National Fly Fishing Expo. in Lakeland, Florida.
Workshops, CCI courses, flycasting demos, exhibitions, etc., etc., as well as advanced organization of both CCI and MCCI testing all went smoothly.
This was in large measure due to the hard work and organization abilities of many with very special thanks to Fl. Council President, Pete Greenan, and CBOG, Dusty Sprague.
We examined 12 CCI candidates. Most were successful, though I don't have the final tally as yet.
Congratulations go to 4 Master candidates who passed ! :-
ED CHAMBERLAIN
ERIC COOK
BILL KIESTER
MACK MARTIN
MCCI candidates who took the exams and did not pass, showed evidence of having put in years of hard study and effort. They came sufficiently close to success that in each instance their examiners felt confident they would eventually return and pass with flying colors.
Having said that, I'd like to remind all of you that some of our very best Masters are those who were not successful on their first, second or even the third attempt. Over the years these candidates used their testing experiences to help prepare them for a greater likelihood of passing on their final attempt.
