It is
assumed a style has been adopted by a caster because they are comfortable with
it. I will amend:
How about: Style can be any movement of the
caster or rod that adheres to the basic principles of casting and results in
an efficient cast.

Dan...
I like that one a tad better....but it still leaves the assumption
that it's comfortable and doesn't speak to the best use of one's
anatomy......although, I must admit that the word efficient comes
close.
Al Kyte's, "Self optimization" does imply the best use of one's
body habitus.
