    Gordy,

    How are these?

1.) Rod plane. The plane in which the rod travels during the stroke, usually
described in terms of degrees above the horizon.
2.) Line plane. The plane of the unrolling line, during the cast, described in
degrees above the horizon or sometimes generally referenced to the angler?s
    eye level.
3.) Casting plane. The plane in which the hand travels during the stroke.
    4.) Trajectory. See line plane.
5.) SLP. ?Straight Line Path? of the rod tip ? imaginary tactical goal
    of standard overhead cast.
6.) RSP. ?Rod Straight Position? ? theoretical tip position of maximum
    line speed during unloading phase.
7.) Counterflex. Inertial bending path of the rod tip past the RSP.
8.) Rebound. Return path of the rod tip to RSP from Counterflex maximum.
9.) Inertia. The physical tendency for an object to either remain at rest or in
    motion.
10.) Tracking. Term used to describe the amount of adherence or diversion from
the optimal 180 degree track of the rod tip during a cast.
11.) Drift. Repositioning the rod tip, after the stop, in the direction of the
unrolling loop, usually performed to increase stroke length of next stroke.
12.) Followthrough. Repositioning the rod tip, after the stop, in the direction
of the unrolling loop, and commonly, the line?s drop due to gravity. Usually
a term used in the description of the final presentation of the fly.
