Hi, Group....
You are casting to targets at 15', 40' and 60' from you.
1.) Name three things that you would consider changing as you go from one target to another, starting with the 15' one ?
2.) What would you change (if anything) from casting to these targets with no wind at all, to casting to them with a 12 MPH wind from your line hand side ?
3.) You now need to cast over the opposite shoulder to these targets. There is a 12 MPH wind from your casting arm side. What might you do differently as you go from the 40' target to the 60' target ?
4.) If you were casting to targets on your MCI exam, would you watch each back cast ?
5.) Your examiner is strict. He/she asks you to start each target cast WITH THE FLY IN YOUR HAND. What additional difficulty might this pose ?
6.) This examiner now wants you to place your fly on the most distant target, pick it up, and without touching it to the ground or water, place it on a target 20' from you. How do you do that ?
