Howdy Gordy.1# If you have not heard Tom Jindra and his wife Debra, are in Mountain Home at Roger Maler's place. Both are safe. Tom might have to report for work his paper is still being published.ol Al2#When Bob Clouser and I were casting at the SE conclave a couple of years ago. He told that the twist in the line at about where you are holding the like to make False cast are because you are turning the line over with each cast. If you shoot the line to come tight on the reel the twist will disappear. HE was right they do.IF the twist are in the tippet it will weaken the mono greatly. The cure for this is to CUT off the fly that is spinning. Often the fly will be out of balance one wing longer than the other. I have also seen Gugglers with a Palmer wrapped body cause the fly to spin.Just more thoughts for the mill.ol AlAllen R. Crise FFF Master Fly Casting Instructor
