[GH] From Jim Valle on the CASTING RENDEZVOUS at the Conclave :
Gordy and Group,
The Casting Rendezvous is on for two days as always this year. I will be heading up the instruction on Thursday Sep 1 and Chase Jablonski will lead on Friday Sept 2.
We invite all Governors and Masters to drop in and teach do a demo or whatever… always something going on and we all always learn something new. Usually one of our Masters from somewhere in the world will drop in and show us how things are done in their country etc. Conclave attendees are invited to cast and learn … and of course we now include Spey!
For the last 2 years I have expanded the invitation to CI’s to come and teach, observe teaching techniques, practice teaching alongside a Master , work on their Masters or whatever…
If you haven’t made reservations yet for the Conclave you still can … Just Do It! Every course offered is a Masters prep opportunity… You just can’t find as much in one place. Just Attending will make you want to learn more… it did for me! If nothing else come to the rendezvous and cast for 2 days… “You will Feel the Difference!”
If you are going to be there make sure you stop in and “bring your problems!”
If you can’t get to the Conclave this year … contact your nearest Master or Governor and let them know you want to do start or get involved in a Regional Rendezvous …I think you will be amazed at the willingness to share!
