I understand. The actual course is under your heading of, EXERCISES.
I don't think you need times, etc. for instructor preparation and information.
The idea of giving the students handouts or "Take this Home" material is a very good one.
The lesson, however, should consist of things like actual times allotted for introductions of speaker (s), introduction of students, Time for taking attendance, Review of basics,etc...... or anything else you do with your students.
Titles and times should be listed for each task you intend to teach.
Break periods and Lunch (if served or time taken to have lunch elsewhere) need to be documented with times allotted, too.
Allotted times for movement from one venue to another (if you do that) need to be included.
Example :
5 min. : Change from casting pond to football field.
5 min. : Change from football field to classroom.

Lesson learned: I was out with Laurence Baggett and Dickey Sisemore. Hooked an enormous tarpon. 4 very hard strip strikes. Incredible leaps, tailwalking and grayhounding followed by about a quarter mile run against a tight drag. After his first flurry and runs, I tightened the drag even more and popped him off.
Laurence had tied the leader and all his knots had held. I had modified it prior to casting by placing a 6X uni loop in the class tippet and loop-to-looped to the 50 lb. butt section. That knot was tied hastily in rough seas and not tightened down sufficiently.
Of course, THAT is where it broke.
I'd have been better served even under those conditions by making a triple surgeon's loop. (I hadn't left enough material to double it over for an improved blood knot.)
Problems: 1.) Poor choice of knot.
2.) Imperfect tie.
