Gordy--Just a quick little "extra" for those in the group wanting a slower look at hauling (capture output here is 100fps). I have a "quick and dirty" QuickTime 7 clip grabbed from one of my motion-capture sessions. I don't have access to the mo-cap system here, so I can't do the 3-D look, but this is interesting in terms on timing, speed, rod flexure (and counterflex) and so forth. This cast was meant to show the effects of rather fierce backcast rotation, coupled with a haul. As you can see, there is no forward cast in the "capture stage". The green triangle in the middle is my head. White dot is my hauling hand. The "streaks" on the markers are velocity tracks--longer=more. A few of the rod markers were lost briefly during the cast, but don't affect the purpose of this particular capture.
