    Walter....

I suggest you send the first part to Denise with the understanding that it IS a 2 part article.  If she can't get it into this edition, she'll use it for the next.

Sorry - just got back from a week of fishing. Is it too late for this edition?

The article is getting too long for a single part. It would be best to do a two parter I think.

I know he's been working on it.  I'll CC him with this note to check on it.  I know this will be a really informative one !

    Hi Gordie,

Any chance he has finished the article?

We are putting together the next issue of the Loop (quickly I might add!) and if not for this issue, certainly for the next one.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

    Denise

    Hi, Denise...

Just a note to let you know that I've asked Walter Simberski of Ontario to come up with  an article on the correct use of engineering and physics terms to describe the elements of casting mechanics.

So many casters get terms like, velocity, acceleration, etc. mixed up as they try to describe what is going on as they teach casting, that I really think this will be a good one.  Walter is a CCI who is in my Master Study Group preparing for his MCCI exam.  He is, by vocation and lifetime study, well qualified to write this one.
