Walter & Group:
From Jerry on NOT being in a rush to take your MCI exam after completing
CCI Cert. (Jerry has been an Airline Captain for many years.) (Not sure I
deserve to be, "knighted", however.)
Gordy,
One has to be wise enough to hear your wisdom. I heard you
in your first course and have not tried to rush the journey, and as you, have
loved every moment of the journey.
Part of the joy is not so much in meeting master requirement but in
discovering and enjoying every way in which one grows in casting,
presentation certainly, but also the people one meets and places
that the journey takes one, similar to being a pilot in the B-747 traveling
and seeing the world, expanding ones soul, understanding and vision of
life.
One does not just jump into a B-747, there is a very long
apprenticeship before one has mastered the skies and the environment of the
flying world. Anything that requires the effort it takes to be a
Master cannot and should not be rushed. It took years to earn the title
Captain as well as the right to be called Doctor Hill. Respect
earns the right to be called Sir and for this E-mail and your constant help and
tutelage I thank you, Sir Gordon.
Moving forward with enjoyment and at my learning pace.
Jerry
