Howdy Gang
The furrled leader has been very popular in Texas freshwater fishing. it is soft and flexable. There is a
Knot call a Shorb Loop that Skip Shorb developed to allow the Loop to be part of the leader. It is a loop in a
loop that hold very well. I was shown it at the SE conclave a few years back. There was a thread on
www.flyanglersonline.com a couple of years ago.
The best person that you can contact on this loop connection is Skip or Capt Barry Evans evanslmtd@xxxxxxxxxx he can
send you the drawing and directions if you ask him real nice... right...
I use it for trout it gives a very good drag free drift. BUT do not cast over a fish. It puts out a spray of water.
This will spook a shallow fish.
