Thanks for sharing.  It's timely considering the message, above.

Another way Einstein said it: " If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself."

This speaks to a kind of genius who knows details the rest of cannot fathom.... who can explain it in terms a youngster would understand.

After all the discussions we've had on scientific explanations v.s. explanations using plain language, I'll give consideration to that when examining a Master candidate.  If the candidate comes in with a complicated scientific answer to a casting issue,  I'll ask him to do it again as he would to a student.

Are these quotes genuine ?  Probably so.
