I have a question on the roll cast tasks in general:

They all say allowances will be made if testing on grass. What exactly are the allowances that can be expected? I have a pretty good idea, but I would like to hear from examiners on this.

You've already seen my comment on this. Basically, it was :

1. I don't think it is fair to demand perfection when making roll casts or Spey casts on grass.

2. If the candidate is asked to make these casts with the set-up exactly as though on water, perfection will almost never be achieved.

Perhaps Joe Libeu or Dusty Sprague of the MCI Testing Committee will comment.
