Hi Gordy,
This has been a really good exercise. I see many of my own teaching frustrations over the years verbalized by the group.
As an aside I have had a string of "engineers" as students lately. I think they are the hardest for me as they tend to be very mechanical and the cast is executed in pieces instead of one smooth movement. I prefer "poets"!
