I was surprised at the number of you who asked what I meant by the terms, "Tenkara", "Dapping" and "Blow line" fishing. This despite the fact that we had hosted the topic of Tenkara fishing a while ago on this site. (This despite my typo in spelling it incorrectly in the list of questions.)
The attachment provides the basics of Tenkara fishing.
A good reference on DAPPING and BLOW LINE FISHING : Jason Borger's NATURE OF FLY CASTING, pp. 247 - 249. Jason lists these under the term "Minor Casts" and describes blow line fishing as the "Blow-Line tactic".

I must admit, Denise Maxwell got me and many of you thinking when she asked for our "wish list" for what to include in the section on FLY CASTING on the Website.
Many of us dove into the Website and found no real such section.
THAT IS HER POINT as she responded when I pointed out that I and others couldn't find it. Her words, "You made my day" emphasised it.
What we now need is a list of fly casting entries which you feel would be appropriate to place in a new fly casting addition to our Website. Keep in mind that the Website is open to all FFF members .... not a forum for instructors and/or experts.
With this predicate, let me re-enter the question :
QUESTION: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE AS PART OF THE CASTING PORTION OF THE WEB SITE. IF YOU HAD A WISH LIST, WHAT WOULD BE ON IT ?

I would love to see high quality instructional videos of how to perform all the casts required for both CCI and MCI certification.

This venture is already in the works for the MCCI exam Committee. I don't know if its distribution has been addressed. The intent is to have clear video renditions of the tasks along with descriptlions of the expectations. Whether to place this in the Master Instructor Study Guide or on the Website will rest upon future decision by the CBOG.
These video's will demand many hours of work by this committee. They are to be commended for tackling a task of this magnitude.
