I'd like to request your input on TEACHING EXPERIENCES . These can be problems that you have had, problems you have solved, humorous events, mishaps, embarrassing situations, impossible tasks or unusual happenings as you have taught ..... anything that can help us learn .

Let me start with a brief one:
Years ago, I attended a Conclave Workshop on specialty casts. The presenter had elected to use a 4 wt outfit with a grey fly line which was very difficult for us to see. The participants were too polite to say anything despite the fact that a lot was being lost because of poor visability.
"Fortunately" the presenter got into trouble with a nasty line/leader tangle. I had my 7 wt. outfit loaded with a bright orange 8 wt. line for demo. I immediately offered it to him. He used it well...... even commented that we'd all be better able to see the line as he continued.
